MacOS ignores the default web browser

I'm sorry, but I couldn't take it anymore!

Every FUCKING time I clicked a link outside my default web browser, this system would insist I use Safari. It simply ignored the fact that I set Firefox as the default browser a thousand times a week!

I have finally found a FUCKING solution for this on a reddit thread. It says:

1. switch back to safari;
2. quit the settings;
3. open again and switch back to chrome;
